Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has responded to Liam Rosenior’s dismissal at Chelsea.
After Chelsea’s 3-0 Premier League loss to Brighton on Sunday, Rosenior was fired as the team’s head coach on Wednesday.
Guardiola responded by expressing regret for Rosenior’s dismissal.
The 41-year-old Englishman is a top-level manager, the Spaniard added.
Guardiola responded, “I’m so sorry,” to a question on Rosenior’s dismissal at his post-match press conference following Man City’s 1-0 victory over Burnley on Wednesday night (as reported by Beanyman Sports).
“I believe he is a manager at that level.
When this occurs, I always consider how fortunate I am to be at the club where I am.
