Arne Slot, the manager of Liverpool, has explained why Arsenal will defeat Manchester City to win the Premier League.
Prior to Liverpool’s Premier League match against Aston Villa on Friday, Slot gave a statement at his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
With two games left in the season, Arsenal leads Man City by two points at the top of the Premier League standings.
Slot, however, thinks Arsenal will win the league due to their excellent defense against rivals.
“I believe Arsenal will be the team that wins the league, at least in my opinion,” Slot stated.
“Arsenal is a side that must defend in a low block for extended periods of time during a game, and they excel at it. That’s also one of the reasons they will win the league, by the way.
