FCT Minister Nyesom Wike announced the start of the relocation process for the Apo mechanics and traders to their new, permanent site.
Speaking at the launch of the Outer Southern Expressway (OSEX) construction near Apo, Wike confirmed that his promise to decongest the area is being kept. He stated that the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Executive Secretary has provided the cost estimate for infrastructure at the new trading site, signaling the commitment to fulfil all promises made to FCT residents.
Wike attributed the progress on infrastructure projects to the “purposeful and decisive leadership” of President Bola Tinubu, asserting that he is setting a high standard for future FCT ministers.
The Minister also mentioned plans to partner with former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo to benefit the youth in Abuja.
