Joe Cole, who used to play for Chelsea, has recommended that his former club make a permanent move this summer for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
Cole emphasized that the England international has performed well while on loan at the Blues.
In the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday, Chelsea defeated the Spanish club Real Betis 4-1, with Sancho contributing to the score.
Cole, however, wishes for Chelsea to acquire his compatriot on a permanent basis.
Cole commented on Sancho’s future, as quoted by Metro UK: “I think Jadon [Sancho] is a really great player and I think he’s done well.
„Ja, das möchte ich (in Bezug auf Chelsea und ihn als festen Neuzugang).
“This is a child who went to [Borussia] Dortmund and was a superstar as a child.”
