Frank Onyeka, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, has disclosed the factors that contributed to Nigeria’s 3-2 victory over Tunisia on Saturday at the 2025 AFCON. As goals from Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Ademola Lookman sealed the victory over the North Africans, the Brentford player played midfield with Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.Onyeka played well against the Carthage Eagles, but after 79 minutes, Chidera Ejuke of Sevilla took his place. The 26-year-old told Ademola Victor in his post-match interview that the Super Eagles’ intense pressing, which prevented Tunisia from having a chance to play, was the crucial element. The strategy was a huge success. We’re happy to move on to the next round,” Onyeka remarked.I believe our strategy was quite successful. The difference was that we didn’t allow them a chance to play because we rushed them too hard.
