Germany Has Selected Eighteen Nigerians for Dual Vocational Training

Through a competitive process, eighteen young Nigerians were chosen to begin the process of enrolling in a Dual Vocational Training program in Germany. This was revealed by Dr. Matthias Leder of the Chief Executive Office of IHK Giessen-Friedberg Chambers of Commerce in Germany, the training’s organizers, when a few chamber executives made a courtesy visit to Mr. Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of Youth Development, at his Abuja office.According to Leder, 300 Nigerians applied for the training program; 18 of them were chosen after a thorough screening procedure. “We created a two-stage competition with 300 Nigerians, and we chose the top 18, who have already begun learning German quite successfully.
