Due to an injury, Sébastien Haller has left the Cote d’Ivoire team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, according to the DAILY POST. Last weekend, Haller sustained the injury while playing for FC Utrecht, a Dutch team. Evann Guessand has taken the place of the former West Ham United striker. At first, Guessand, who plays for Aston Villa in the Premier League, was listed as a reserve. In the previous competition, Haller scored the game-winning goal as the Elephants defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria 2-1. He is one of Emerse Fae’s team’s most seasoned players.
