William Gallas, a former Chelsea defender, has identified the striker that the Blues should acquire for manager Enzo Maresca in the upcoming season. The Frenchman wants Chelsea to recruit Victor Osimhen, a striker for Galatasaray, according to an interview with OLBG. Gallas thinks the Nigerian international can help the West London team return to the top of the Premier League. Although Chelsea currently has players like Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, Gallas believes Maresca’s team still needs a “experienced” Osimhen. “To be honest, I think Chelsea is missing one experienced player right now, and Victor Osimhen is a player who can really put Chelsea on top for me,” Gallas remarked.I was hoping he will sign for Chelsea. Sadly, it didn’t occur. However, I do hope to see him play for Chelsea since I believe his skill level will allow him to fit right in. This is prior to Chelsea’s match against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
