The Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee has established a Caretaker Committee for Cross River State, as announced by National Publicity Secretary Ini Ememobong on Wednesday. Under Section 21(2)(a-b) of the party’s constitution, this group will manage state operations for up to three months or until a new Executive is elected. The committee is led by Chairman Bassey Eko Ewa, Secretary Bassey Joseph Adim, and Administrative Secretary Emmanuel Ekpe. The remaining membership includes Joe Ekpe Edet, Udie Mike, Lynne Bassey, Etim Okon, Ankot Cohbom, Ofsna Raphael Odo, Onun Inyang Unoh, Ebaye Akunjom, Godswill Obindim, Edem Ekong, Raymond Abo, Moses Bisuakefe, Agabi Dominic Oko, Walter Nandi Esom, Ekpo Asuquo, and Victor Takon.
