According to Daily Trust checks, premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petroleum, prices have begun to decline nationwide after the Dangote Refinery lowered the ex-depot price. However, prominent marketers in Lagos are now charging between N820 and N890 instead of N910 and N920 before the most recent reduction, thus the costs have not yet fallen below N800. In Lagos, only MRS filling stations offer N739 per litre, and some of them, particularly the Alapere station, have huge lines. The Dangote Refinery’s ex-depot price plummeted by N125 over the weekend, according to Daily Trust.
