A man suspected of being involved in the death of a teenage kid was slain by a crowd in Keffi, Nasarawa State, and his body was set on fire. It was said that Isma’ila Zaria, the victim of the mob action, had been a guard at the Keffi Emirate Palace before. Residents suspected him of being connected to the murder of Aliyu Muhammadu Lawal, a teenage boy whose body was later found in a pit in a nearby complex.Zaria had previously been caught and brought into jail by members of a local vigilante group, according to sources.
