Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, indicated that the Federal Government is prepared to reveal the individuals or groups funding terrorism in Nigeria in the near future.
Bwala shared this information on Sunday while being interviewed on Television Continental (TVC), a program monitored by DAILY POST.
He mentioned that the Federal Government is currently finalizing significant policy decisions, and the effects of these will soon become apparent.
According to him, terrorism is a worldwide problem, underscoring that global governments are now called upon to determine how they can collaborate with Nigeria.
He also noted that terrorism became a global concern following the incident at the World Trade Center in the United States on September 11, 2001.
Bwala further asserted that any location experiencing terrorism is a matter of concern for the rest of the world, which he argued is why Nigeria requires international assistance to eradicate it.
He said: “They were previously situated in the Middle East, and they are progressively moving towards the Sahel region to establish a center for terrorism. Consequently, the world governments are now being asked to find ways to cooperate with Nigeria.
“Domestically, the government is taking extensive decisions, and soon we will be aware of the identities of the terrorists and those who finance them.”
