Jonny Evans, Manchester United’s head of loans and pathways, has identified two teammates who are far better than the others. Evans played for Manchester United twice: once from 2006 until 2015 and again in 2023. During his first stint at Old Trafford, the Northern Irishman played 198 games for Manchester United in all competitions, winning three Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, and two League Cups. During his second stint, the center-back made 43 appearances across all competitions and won the FA Cup in 2024. Evans told Sky Sports, “I always felt Scholes and Giggs were on another level to the rest of the team.” “Even though our players were top-tier, I thought their IQ was slightly higher than everyone else’s.”
