The 2025 Jos Winter Polo Tournament, which will take place at the General Hassan Polo Ground and include over 20 teams vying for major trophies, will provide eight days of elite action for polo fans from Lagos and beyond.Three famous trophies—the Governor’s Cup, NASCO Cup, and President Cup—will be awarded during the glitzy polo festival, which takes place from December 26, 2025, to January 2, 2026. Teams will compete fiercely for a week to determine the winners of the winter polo fiesta.Murtala Laushi, the secretary of the Nigerian Polo Federation (NPF) and president of the Jos Polo Club, confirmed the dates and promised polo enthusiasts that the competition would be better than its predecessors. With the full support of the Plateau State Government and important stakeholders, Laushi stated, the organizers are ready to provide a remarkable event. “The strategy, organization, excitement, competition, and friendship that would perpetuate the newfound peace in the state” will be the focal points of the Jos 2025 Polo Festival, he said.
