Departing Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has opened up on forward Rodrygo’s situation at the club.
Ancelotti said the Brazilian international is sad for having a discomfort in his leg.
The Italian also revealed that the 24-year-old had a fever and didn’t train with the team.
Before the LaLiga game against Mallorca on Wednesday evening, Ancelotti held a press conference where he spoke.
„Rodrygo spürt ein Unwohlsein in seinem Bein. He feels sad about it, but there’s truly nothing else,” Ancelotti stated (via Fabrizio Romano).
„Er war nicht fit, da er letzte Woche nicht trainiert hat und Fieber hatte. He felt uneasy, and we wanted to examine it.
He said, “Rodrygo is loved by all, and I’m no exception.”
In 2019, Rodrygo transferred from the Brazilian club Santos to Real Madrid.
