On February 14, at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Golf Club, the Ladies’ Golf Association of Nigeria (Ladies’ Golf Association of Nigeria) held its first cat tournament to welcome its president and the 2025–2027 executive council. Yohanna Mercy was the featured performer in the Ladies’ HCP 0–28 category. Mercy, who was playing off handicap 28, had a calm and collected round, recording a gross score of 93, which equated to a remarkable nett score of 65. She won the Ladies’ HCP 0–28 winner’s title for her consistent performance throughout the course, which was decisive in a field full of competitors. She finished ahead of SJ Marcus (HCP 14), who settled for second place after returning a gross 81 for a nett 67.
