Arne Slot, Liverpool’s manager, will not be fired this season. Slot is under fire at Liverpool following his team’s midweek 4-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League. After a disastrous run of results, the former Feyenoord coach is fighting to keep his job at Liverpool. Nine of Slot’s team’s previous twelve games across all competitions have ended in losses. But according to Daily Mail Sport, the Dutchman is still supported by the team and will be in the dugout when the Reds play West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday. The report stated that Liverpool will have time to make a positive change. After taking over for Jurgen Klopp, Slot led Liverpool to the Premier League championship in his first season.
