The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has announced that all competition venues in Abuja are prepared to host athletes from all across the nation for Nigeria’s largest multi-sport event for physically challenged athletes, with just 12 days till the 3rd National Para Games Abuja 2026 begin. The main venue for the Games, the famous Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, will host most of the competitions, according to the official Games venue plan.Para athletics in the main bowl, para powerlifting, seated volleyball, wheelchair basketball, para taekwondo, para table tennis, para badminton, and wheelchair tennis are among the events planned in the stadium complex’s indoor facilities in Packages A and B.Other activities, such as para swimming at the Swimming Pool Complex, para cycling and para karate at the Velodrome, and para shooting at the stadium shooting range, will be held at specific facilities surrounding the stadium.In addition to the stadium complex, other locations have been chosen, such as Jabi Lake for para canoeing and the FIFA Goal Project Pitch for amputee football. Thousands of athletes from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will compete in the 3rd National Para Games Abuja 2026, which will honor excellence, resiliency, and the spirit of inclusivity via athletics.
