Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, reshuffled the cabinet on Monday.
The governor made the announcement in a letter written by his chief of staff, Segun Ogunwuyi, in the state capital of Ibadan, according to a statement from his special adviser on media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
The reshuffle will see Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, the current Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, move to the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport, while Seun Ashamu, the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, will move to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, according to the letter.
Dahud Shangodoyin, the Public Works Commissioner, has been transferred to the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy. Similarly, Segun Olayiwola, the present Commissioner for Establishments, will now oversee the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, while Solihu Adelabu, the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, has been transferred to the Ministry of Establishments and Training.
Makinde urged them to continue carrying out their responsibilities with the highest devotion and commitment to the state, saying the movements are effective immediately.
