EPL: Iwobi competes against five players for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been nominated for the Fulham’s Goal of the Month for April.

Iwobi was nominated for his goal in Fulham’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Craven Cottage on April 20.

The 29-year-old slotted the ball past Robert Sanchez from the edge of the box in the 20th minute of the encounter.

For Marco Silva’s team, the goal marked his ninth of the season.

Chibuzo Nwoko, a midfielder born in Nigeria, has also received a nomination for his goal in Everton’s U-21 match against Nottingham Forest on April 28.

Other players nominated for the award include Rodrigo Muniz, Ryan Sessegnon, Seth Ridgeon, and Emile Smith Rowe.
