On Sunday, Rory McIlroy won the Race to Dubai title on the DP World Tour for the eighth year and four consecutive seasons. However, the world No. 2 lost the $10 million Tour Championship to Matt Fitzpatrick of England after his tee shot went awry on the opening playoff hole.Fitzpatrick (66) established the record at 18-under par on Sunday at the Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth course after making a birdie on the 72nd hole of regulation play. A few minutes later, McIlroy made an incredible second shot to 16 feet and eagled the same hole.
