The NWFL (Nigeria Women Football League) has announced a total prize package of N24.5m for the ongoing Super Six tournament.
All six participating clubs will share the increased financial incentives.
The champions will take home N10m, keeping in line with the previous two editions.
Teams finishing second and third will receive N6m and N4m, respectively. Both indicated an increase of N1m from the previous season.
The three lowest-ranked teams will get N1.5m, which is an increase of N500,000 compared to the previous season.
The title is being contested by four clubs: Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, and Remo Stars Ladies.
The season’s last day will determine the winner.
