The Nigeria Democratic Congress’s (NDC) National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, has thanked President Bola Tinubu for bestowing upon him a national honour.
In an interview with Arise Television, the director stated that Tinubu deserves praise.
He was responding to his and other pro-democracy activists receiving national honours.
Since pro-democracy activists were the ones who made sure Obasanjo didn’t die in prison in 1999, I’m glad President Tinubu realised he had to address these irregularities.
However, he didn’t value the media and activists after he was elected president. Therefore, President Tinubu deserves praise if he chooses to make amends.
“I don’t engage in politics of retaliation. He declared, “I’m not going to deny my social relationships with people because I’m in the opposition party.”
