After Manchester City’s surprising defeat to Al-Hilal in the last 16, this year’s Club World Cup will see a new champion.

For the fourth match in a row, Pep Guardiola’s team took the lead within 10 minutes, thanks to Bernardo Silva’s close-range finish.
With only 44 seconds into the second half, Marcos Leonardo made it 1-1, before Malcom gave Al-Hilal the lead in the 52nd minute.
Erling Haaland ensured the match was level again three minutes late.
Al-Hilal thought they had won it in extra time after Kalidou Koulibaly headed in a corner-kick, but Phil Foden squeezed home a volley for City.
However, Leonardo’s second of the match eight minutes from time proved to be decisive, as the 2021 AFC Champions League winners pulled off a shock victory
