According to the camp of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Nigerians are already joining the alliance that is gaining momentum to overthrow President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
In an interview with Vanguard on Sunday, Atiku’s media adviser Paul Ibe stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is already twitching over the coalition’s alignment of important opposition personalities.
Ibe said he was hopeful the coalition, which he said represented a strong platform, would overthrow the incumbent party in 2027.
They are afraid because they are aware that the coalition has a strong platform that has the potential to overthrow this government.
Nigerians are actually defecting to the coalition, even if certain leaders choose to leave their political party. It represents their goal and a means of overthrowing this ineffective administration,” he stated.
Ibe added, “Nigerians will eagerly board this train once everything about the coalition is finalized and the dotted lines are signed.”
“It will be a much more significant defection than what is occurring with the APC,” Ibe stated.
