Brighton’s English Women’s FA Cup semi-final victory over Liverpool has been praised by Chiamaka Nnadozie.
Brighton overcame a 2-0 deficit to win the match at BrewDog Stadium 3-2.
Denise O’Sullivan and Beata Olsson scored two well-earned goals as Liverpool took control of the match in the first minute.
Before halftime, Brighton’s deficit was cut by Manuela Vanegas.
Madison Haley gave the Seagulls the equalizer in the second half.
Nadine Noordam finished the comeback in stoppage time as the game went into extra time.
On social media, Nnadozie commemorated the significant win.
“We’re heading to Wembley. Right into the FA Cup finals. Extremely proud of this group. Nnadozie wrote on X, “I give God the glory.”
This weekend’s final between Brighton and Manchester City will take place at Wembley Stadium.
