The All Progressives Congress (APC) has decided to extend the deadline for selling its nomination and expression of interest forms from Saturday, May 2, 2026, to Monday night, May 4, 2026.
Additionally, the party moved the form submission deadline from Saturday to Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Deputy National Publicity Secretary Duro Meseko, speaking at a press conference on Thursday at the APC’s National Secretariat, stated that the public holiday on Friday made it necessary to extend the date.
He claims that the decision was made to permit prospective members who have not yet received the forms to take part in the activity.
“The NWC met and we took some decisions,” said Meseko Saud. I would like to announce that the nomination form sales period for offices, which was supposed to end on Saturday, May 2, 2026, has been extended until midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Additionally, screening will now take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and the deadline for submitting forms, which was originally set for Saturday, has been extended to Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
“As you are all aware, Friday is a public holiday, and we have received calls from every state. This is the main reason we are changing the date to allow all members who are willing to purchase the form to take part.”
