Niger Tornadoes’ top scorer, Joseph Godstime, is set to make a return for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 36 clash with Abia Warriors.
Godstime has been sidelined since the start of the second stanza due to injury.
The striker returned to full training with the team this week.
The Ikon Allah Boys are fighting to avoid relegation this season. Godstime is confident they will retain their top-flight status by season’s end. “Thank God, I’m back in the team and filled with zeal and God’s grace to make this happen. With just three games left, I believe in myself and my teammates and what we can do to ensure the team avoids relegation,” Godstime told Niger Tornadoes media.
I realize that I cannot achieve this without my teammates’ assistance, yet I firmly believe and hope that we will win the match.
On Wednesday (today), Niger Tornadoes will face off against Abia Warriors at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
