NPFL: Rangers refute rumours of General Manager Ezeaku’s departure and dismissal

The Rangers have dismissed speculation that their General Manager, Amobi Ezeaku, is about to depart from the club.

Last week, speculation arose that Ezeaku is contemplating resigning from the position.

Nobert Okolie, the media director of the Flying Antelopes, asserted that the report is untrue.

Okolie stated, with unwavering assurance, “That speculation is completely unfounded.

“No one has been spoken to by our GM regarding his potential stepping down. And no one, including those from the government that finances and owns the team, has ever questioned the GM’s future with the club.

In 2023, Ezeaku ascended from his role as Team Manager to the position of General Manager at Rangers.

The young administrator was the architect of Rangers’ success in clinching their eighth Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title last season.

On Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, Rangers will compete against Kwara United in the semi-final of the President Federation Cup.
