Nwabali’s attempt at Simba fails

Due to a disagreement over personal terms, Stanley Nwabali’s anticipated transfer to Simba SC has fallen through.

The Super Eagles goalie, who has been looking for a new team since February, is disappointed by the development.

After leaving Chippa United during the Africa Cup of Nations in January, the 29-year-old goalkeeper was heavily linked to a move to East Africa. According to reports, negotiations have advanced in the last few weeks.

But in the end, talks collapsed because Simba allegedly refused to give in to Nwabali’s camp’s financial demands.

A source informed Kickoff Magazine, “They really wanted to sign him in January, but it did not happen and they have moved on from him.”

He is undoubtedly a superb goalkeeper, which is why Simba wanted to buy him, but his demands were too high. He is no longer going there because they have moved on.

Nwabali, who had been on the verge of securing a new beginning after fleeing South Africa, will be disappointed by the collapse.
