With two games remaining in the regular season, the Nasarawa Amazons, Abia Angels, and Remo Stars Ladies are fighting for the final two playoff berths in Group B of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
FC Robo Queens is the only team in the group to have qualified for the Super Six playoff event, according to the DAILY POST.
With 29 points from 16 games, the Nasarawa Amazons are in second place on the leaderboard. Remo Stars Ladies have 24 points, while Abia Angels are in third place with 27 points.
The Lafia-based team’s last two league games are against Sunshine Queens and Robo Queens.
The Amazons would guarantee their spot in the playoffs if they won their next game.
To place in the top three of the group, Abia Angels must defeat Dannaz Ladies and Ahudiyannem Queens in their final two games.
In their remaining games, Remo Stars Ladies will take on Dannaz Ladies and Delta Queens.
Group B’s top three teams move on to the NWFL Super Six postseason round.
