Obi Ogbala, the head coach of the Heartland Queens, credits hard work for his team’s triumph over the Rivers Angels.
At Dan Anyiam Stadium on Wednesday, the Owerri-based team defeated the Rivers Angels 2-1.
Ogbala said he was optimistic about his team’s chances of winning the rest of the season.
“No two games are alike. We have been assigned to win them, and we know we need this game,” Ogbala said to Puyaka.
“We put a lot of effort into winning against the Rivers Angels, and the outcome is visible to us.”
Heartland Queens’ final two games of the season will pit them against Bayelsa Queens and Adamawa Queens.
