Victor Ochei, a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, is predicted to win the top spot in the Nigerian Tennis Federation (NTF) presidential election. Ochei was only recently proposed by the National Sports Commission (NSC) to serve as the federation’s Sponsorship/Philanthropist representative on the board.The majority of sports federations’ elections, which will be overseen by the NSC, are scheduled for Saturday, October 25, in Abuja. The stakeholders are apparently putting a lot of effort into getting previous Nigerian tennis stars to run for president, even though Ochei, who has sponsored the Wheelchair Tennis Championship in Nigeria for many years, is predicted to win. Sadiq, David Imonitie, and Nduka Odizor will join the board. Considering Ochei’s selection as a major tennis stakeholder In order to put the federation on the path to growth, Caleb Tsavs stated that tennis must perform well this term. “What have you done for tennis to qualify for leadership on the board?” is the question we pose to each competitor. It is crucial because tennis got to where it is today due of our previous indifference to the elections.
