Olafeso: Those opposed to the PDP convention are advocating for a one-party state.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former National Vice Chairman, Eddy Olafeso, has claimed that those resisting the party’s upcoming national convention are attempting to impose a one-party state in Nigeria.
Appearing on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today,’ Olafeso reacted to the Federal High Court’s order that temporarily barred the PDP from holding its national convention scheduled for November 15–16 in Ibadan. He labeled the court decision as the peak of “judicial rascality.”
Olafeso stated that the restraining order did not surprise the party, alleging that a particular group is determined to completely destroy the PDP. He expressed confidence that the convention will still proceed and warned that those opposing the party have ulterior motives aimed at weakening the opposition.
