‘One death too many’ – Adaje laments Benue massacre, calls for end to bloodshed

The recent vicious attacks in Benue State that claimed the lives of 23 innocent people have been denounced by Hon. Inalagwu Ejembi Adaje, a candidate for the Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadigbo Federal House of Representatives.

Recall that in recent attacks by suspected herdsmen, twelve people were killed in the Apa Local Government Area and eleven more in Gwer West.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Adaje called the attacks “unacceptable” and “senseless,” and he asked all rational people worldwide to denounce such acts of violence.

In order to stop these unjustified attacks, Adaje urged security services to act right away.

“One death too many,” he said. We need our security services to keep an eye on this matter and put an end to this needless murder. During this time of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

The prospective congressman expressed his sympathies to the victims’ families and prayed that God would comfort them and give them the strength to deal with their loss.

Additionally, Adaje urged the Benue State Government to step up and confront the state’s security issues.
