According to the DAILY POST, Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka celebrated Coventry City’s victory in the Sky Bet Championship.
Frank Lampard’s team defeated Portsmouth 5-1 at home on Tuesday, confirming their title as Championship winners.
With two games remaining, the Sky Blues won the championship in spectacular fashion.
After moving to Coventry from Brentford in January, Onyeka made a significant contribution to the team’s success.
The 28-year-old was thrilled to contribute to the team’s accomplishments.
“History doesn’t just happen. Twenty-five years are needed. Champions for promotion. He remarked on X, “I’m proud to be a part of something special.”
After joining Coventry on loan from Brentford in January, Onyeka has only managed one goal in 13 games.
