Osigwe celebrates as Kun Khalifat halt winless streak

Former Super Eagles attacker, Emmanuel Osigwe, has stated that his tactical acumen was essential in helping Kun Khalifat halt a five-game winless skid in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL. DAILY POST recalls that Osigwe replaced coach Obinna Uzoho who was dismissed by the team for poor performance last month. Kun Khalifat defeated Plateau United 2-0 in a matchday 15 clash at the Dan Anyiam Stadium , Owerri on Sunday. In the match, Gabriel Olalekan and Henry Ezeonye scored goals for the Owerri-based team. “It’s just like some few days ago that I took over as the head coach of Kun Khalifat,” Osigwe stated following their win against Plateau United.When it has been misused in various ways that have impacted the team’s ability to deliver, I must use the tools I have in the appropriate locations to make a change. Kun Khalifat rose to 16th spot in the league table with 17 points following the win.
