Oyedepo on US missiles in Sokoto: Terrorist sponsors are now hiding, and a verdict has finally been rendered

Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, has welcomed the United States’ military intervention in Nigeria following reports that the US military fired at least 12 Tomahawk missiles into terrorist camps in Sokoto State on Christmas night. The airstrikes, ordered by President Donald Trump in coordination with the Nigerian government, have provided relief to citizens as a potential sign of the end of long-standing security challenges. Reacting to the event, Oyedepo thanked God for bringing judgment upon the killers and noted that those sponsoring terrorism are now in hiding. He stated that for the first time in nearly 20 years, the attackers are facing significant pressure, attributing the turnaround to spiritual intervention and collective prayer. He declared that judgment has begun for those who have caused others to mourn and expressed gratitude for the divine shift in Nigeria’s affairs, remarking that the persecutors have now become the ones being persecuted.
