NiMet predicts three days of sunshine and clouds.

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and cloudy weather across the country from Monday to Wednesday. The agency’s weather outlook indicates that the northern region will experience sunny skies throughout the period, while the central and southern regions are expected to be sunny with occasional cloud patches. Later on Monday, isolated thunderstorms with light rains are expected in parts of Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, Delta, Ondo, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Imo, Abia, and Osun States. For Tuesday, NiMet anticipates continued sunny conditions in the north and central regions, with light rains expected in several southern states, including Abia, Edo, Ogun, and others, during the afternoon or evening. On Wednesday, sunny and hazy conditions are predicted for Jigawa, Yobe, and Borno, while the rest of the north remains sunny. Light rains are also expected later that day in parts of Anambra, Oyo, Edo, and several coastal states. NiMet advised drivers to be cautious in the rain and urged airline operators to obtain specific weather reports for effective flight planning.
