According to Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), Engineer Seyi Makinde, the current governor of Oyo State, will be replaced by a Muslim.
The association stated that this was required to guarantee justice, equity, and fairness among followers of the state’s two main religions.
Professor Ishaq Akintola, MURIC’s Executive Director, signed a statement making these claims.
