In an Arise Television interview, Ogidi stated that the group is not recognized by the party and their actions have no constitutional basis or impact on the party’s legitimacy. He suggested that those who organized the meeting were merely seeking attention. This statement follows the reported appointment of Mao Ohuabunwa as Chairman of the BoT faction loyal to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
