PDP is not owned by Wike; they will be dealt with. George Bode

According to Bode George, a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party’s next National Executive Council (NEC) meeting will take serious action against anyone discovered to be working against the party.

He asserted that the PDP is not owned by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and that it differs from the All Progressives Congress (APC), which he stated is owned by a single person.

When answering questions on Thursday’s Arise Television Morning Show, the PDP chieftain made this statement.

The statement comes amid confusion in the PDP regarding its 100th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Monday, June 30, 2025.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP had dismissed claims that the NEC meeting was postponed.

Additionally, it refuted rumors that Senator Samuel Anyanwu had been restored to his position as the party’s National Secretary after Acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Damagum briefed the media on Wednesday.

George, however, disputed that Wike was significantly influencing the PDP’s current problem.

“Nyesom Wike joined the PDP just like everyone else, so he does not own the party,” he stated. Wait until the NEC meeting, when severe action will be done against everyone who has committed a “hara-kiri,” if you believe that his continued membership in the party is solely due to his wealth.
