On Thursday, a delegation from the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) paid a courtesy call to the Force Headquarters in Abuja to meet with Inspector-General of Police IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
Members of the National Executive Committee and representatives from other regional commands made up the PCRC delegation, which was headed by National Chairman Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan.
In his speech, Olaniyan expressed gratitude to IGP Olatunji Disu for his appointment and reiterated the PCRC’s steadfast support and allegiance to the Nigeria Police Force.He praised the Inspector-General for consistently acknowledging the strategic contributions made by the PCRC to national security.
In response, IGP Disu conveyed his sincere gratitude for the PCRC’s ongoing assistance to the Force.
He charged PCRC leadership with upholding strong oversight and ensuring that PCRC identification is used only for lawful purposes and intelligence gathering, assuring the delegation of the Force’s complete cooperation.The Inspector-General stressed that in order to maintain the partnership’s integrity, members must continue to be model citizens.
