Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, stated on Monday that he is prepared to collaborate on healthcare delivery in Ibadanland with Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry, California, Sadiat Toyin Lawal Foundation, and the University of California, Los Angeles.
This was revealed by Oba Ladoja at a meeting at his palace in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan North Local Government Area, Oyo State, with Toyin Lawal and other members of the three non-governmental organizations.
“The health of the people of Ibadanland is of paramount importance to me,” he declared. Since health is wealth, I will do everything in my power to guarantee that the inhabitants of the old city have access to and are encouraged to lead healthy lives.
Allow me to take this opportunity to convey my willingness to collaborate on the health care delivery system in Ibadanland with the University of California, Los Angeles, Sadiat Toyin Lawal Foundation, and Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry California.
The monarch claimed to have arranged a meeting between the visiting team and representatives of the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board, which is headed by Muideen Olatunji, Executive Secretary.
He claimed that the meeting was required to guarantee productive cooperation.
Toyin Lawal, the outreach leader, had previously stated that the visit was intended to work with the Olubadan on community health partnerships and outreach for local governments, tertiary hospitals, and primary healthcare facilities.
In order to enhance healthcare delivery, she continued, the team intended to provide resources and medical equipment.
