The Nigeria Tennis Federation’s (NTF) president, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, has pledged to improve the country’s tennis scene and enable local players to successfully compete internationally. Ochei’s growing influence in sports administration was highly acknowledged during a recent reunion of former and current MPs in Asaba, where his commitment was a significant highlight. The previous speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly provided players, coaches, and other stakeholders with sustainable career pathways. He declared, “Our objective is to create an ecosystem that supports every facet of tennis, ensuring that all constituents have a role to play in the sport’s growth.” During his tenure, Ochei, who is well-known for upgrading the Assembly complex and leading legislative reforms, has now focused his strategic leadership on sports development.
