Elizabeth Arinde and Musibau Amuda, two high-ranking officials in Kwara State’s Oke Ero Council Area, have been liberated from unidentified assailants.
According to Naija News, James Abiodun Fadipe, the Executive Chairman of Oke Ero Local Government, revealed this in a statement he signed on Monday.
Unknown assailants kidnapped Alhaji Amuda, the Director of Personnel Management, and Barrister Arinde, the Council Area’s Legal Officer, on Friday.
In his “Appreciation and Gratitude Message,” Fadipe praised the efforts of security services and Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman.
It stated: “On behalf of Hon. James Abiodun Fadipe, Executive Chairman of Oke Ero Local Government, we sincerely thank the Almighty God for His protection and mercy over our beloved Director of Personnel Management, Alhaji Musibau Amuda, and the Local Government Legal Officer, Barrister Omoladun Elizabeth Arinde, who have returned to us safely and in good health. We are ecstatic and grateful since this is truly the Lord’s doing.
We are deeply grateful to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman CON, and the leadership of ALGON for their steadfast support during this challenging period.”
