The people who live along Temidire-Agbamu Road in Ibadan’s Sanyo neighborhood have urged the Oyo State Government to repair their road immediately.
The road is in poor shape and is impeding the free movement of people in the impacted areas, according to the locals.
The hamlet, which is located in Oluyole Local Government Area’s Ward 7, said that both locals and commuters had suffered greatly as a result of the road’s condition.
The road’s renovation will improve the quality of life for hundreds of people who rely on it every day and stimulate economic activity in the area, according to the locals.
They pleaded with the state administration to incorporate the route into its ongoing efforts to revitalize the state’s infrastructure.
Speaking on Monday, Mr. Olaide Adeoye, the community’s chairman, pointed out that the route is constantly impassable, particularly during the rainy season.
He then took use of the occasion to urge the state administration to take action regarding the road.
“We are pleading with the Oyo State Government to assist us,” he stated. Our people’s lives have become intolerable due to the state of Temidire-Agbamu Road. The expense of transportation has increased dramatically, and cars break down all the time.
Similarly, Mojeed Owoade, the community’s Otun Baale, urged the state government to give the road project first priority.
Although our town is expanding, this road has turned into a nightmare. In order for our people to travel freely and for businesses to prosper, we urgently need to take action.
Alhaji Aliyu was among the other locals who bemoaned the road’s years of neglect.
He then took use of the occasion to implore the state authorities to take the road into consideration.
