Sheikh Khalifa Usman Idris, also known as Rigi-Rigi, was a well-known Islamic scholar from Zaria who passed away. Malama Abubakar Ḥ�anyaro, Rigi-Rigi’s son-in-law, told Daily Trust on Monday morning that the cleric had passed away. He claimed that the scholar passed suddenly Sunday night at a private hospital in Kaduna. According to Ò�anyaro, the funeral prayer is set for Monday, following the Asr prayer at his home in Zaria’s Kusfa neighborhood.Before being moved to a private hospital in Barnawa, Kaduna, where he died, the cleric was admitted to 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.
