Parts of Kano’s well-known commodity market, Singer Market, which is situated along Bello Road in the city, were destroyed by an early-morning fire on Monday. The event occurred at about 5:00 a.m. and was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi, who claimed firefighters were promptly rushed to the location to suppress the blaze. According to Abdullahi, service members who were called to the site managed to contain the fire and stop it from spreading to other parts of the market.According to early reports, things valued at millions of naira were damaged in the fire, therefore store owners hurried to the market to try to save their merchandise.
