Morgan Rogers scored a double as Aston Villa defeated West Ham United 3-2 on Sunday, coming back from behind twice to stay in the thick of the Premier League title battle. After Ezri Konsa’s error was punished by Mateus Fernandes after 29 seconds, Villa were behind 2-1 at halftime until Rogers took matters into his own hands. Five minutes after halftime, the England midfielder scored an equalizer, and late in the game, he hammered a dipping drive past goalkeeper Alphonse Areola to secure the points.
